This frame is a copy of a Hula Bike. I built it for The Gadget show. Not sure when it will be on but keep your eyes open. The shop that built it up kindly had the decals ripped off to fit theirs on.

So I am not sure if my name will appear.

But what the heck I have always preferred to remain in the background, and am working my socks off for 14 Bike co at the moment.

See other pics below.

More pics to follow.

BUSY YEAR

Hi All,
It's been a busy year and most of the frames I have built have been the old traditional frames.
Built using lugs and standard sized tubing.
Nearly all track style frames for commuting.
Takes me back to when I started building frames for Tom Bromwich.
Lugless frames where just coming into fashion but at Sirius Cycles Coventry we were building and selling rapidly some nice lugged, 531 race, training and touring framesets.
Before that I built a whole load of road frames for Bromwich, again lugged, which went to Saracen. Nice frames again with chrome plated back ends.
Looks like the old style steel frames are here to stay.
I am working on a new website with prices and OTP frame sets ( yes Lugged) at competative prices.
So keep keep a look out.
No Pics at the moment I am changing computers.

BLACK/BLUE/WHITE. AND STAINLESS

Hi,
It's been a while.
I thought I better put up a few pics to show I am still working.
More stainless steel.
My time now is spent just building.
If you know exactly what you want. That is, you have a drawing, with full spec and details of braze ons and know what tubing you want, then email me direct with the relevant information and I will give you a quote. cycleframes@hotmail.comOr I can point you to a shop who can help with sizing etc.

Oh,,,Happy New Year.

Yes I am still here.

I have been sooo busy with the start of the year.
Here are a couple of frames I took pics of before they went out, while I had the chance.
A cycle speedway frame with 631 tubing, in Flam blue and a Reynolds 725 Audax frame in a pearl orange.

I have an 853 in progress having the stainless dropouts and fork crown polished. Then its off to the painters to be painted white with black lugs picked out.
All for now I must get back to the workshop to carry on working.

MORE STAINLESS PICS

What can I say.
This just looks beautiful.
Reynolds 853 team pro tubes with stainless lugs, dropouts and fork crown. And some of the small braz ons.

Stainless.

I was hoping to post some pics of the finished stainless lugged frame but I haven't had it back from the painters yet. Looks like I won't get it till the new year.
For now here are some pics before painting.

STAINLESS LUGS

Hi, out there,
I am just about to get an order for an 853 Proteam tubed frame with some nice stainless lugs.
I am looking forward to building this frame. The thought of some nice shiny lugs seems so good.
It will also have stainless fork crown, dropouts, and all the little bits and braze ons.
I will take some photos when it gets underway.
I have an 853 tandem with S and S couplings at the shoties at the moment. That will be finished in ferrari red powder. (Thats if the powder coating turns out good)
I've also finished a light road frame for a local guy, built using Columbus Spirit with stainless steel Henry James rear ends.
There is a set of Reynolds 953 just waiting to be built up. I am just collecting as much info about Tig welding it together as I can get. This is not the sort of tubing you mess around with. The price is too high. This frame is already sold to a shop up north.
I will put some pics up as things get built.

Bye for now.

26" WHEELED TOURING FRAME AND FORKS

This is a light touring frame based on 26" wheels.
Similar to the frames I used to build for Thorn,
It comes with stainless steel drop outs, which look nice when the faces are clean of paint.
It comes with all the braze ons for full touring and is custom built to size.

Green Single speed.

This week I have mostly been building green single speeds and Tandem Trikes.
I also built these lugs into a frame but forgot to take any pictures of it complete. Maybe next time.

I have my first set of 953. And yes it does feel good.
I have already sold it to a shop up north so I will show some pics of it in the build process.
Till next time,
Lee.
